iknowstuff.org was purchased on March 31, 2009 through Dream Host and is also hosted through them. (It is a wonderful hosting company! If you're looking for reliable hosting for your own domain, I recomend them.)
   the domain name is the Marvel Comic character Layla Miller's catchphrase, "I Know Stuff", which I felt suited the concept of the site very well. Other possible titles were puregreenenergy.com (Dawn, BtVS), irridecenntwings.net (Mab, I Was A Teenage Fairy), onlytoexcess.org (Starbuck, BSG 2003) and intergalacticfangirl.com (all fandom coverage, but gender-specific). I chose iknowstuff.org because it's not so specific that it can't cover all fandoms for the site but it is fandom related and those who know X-Factor (and hopefully like Layla) will recognise the quote.
   iknowstuff.org is a multi-fandom resoures site. It is owned by Pixie Child but is run by a handull of wonderful fandom-obsessed contributors who are willing to donate their time and energy to make this site what it is.
